Background
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Lyme Mexico Clinic, which has established the Emory Patterson Memorial Fund. This fund is dedicated to helping patients who are unable to afford the full cost of their treatment protocols, including diagnostic testing and essential therapies. The Lyme Mexico Clinic played a crucial role in Joyce's journey with Lyme disease, providing the care and support she needed during her initial diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Morales, a close friend and like family to us, is also a member of the board of directors at the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). Emory was a passionate advocate for helping others access Dr. Morales’ expertise and begin their healing journey.
