Emory Gordon passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2022 at the age of 79, after battling leukemia.

Born to James and Martha Gordon on August 9 , 1943. Emory was very helpful as a child. When he was 28 years old, he immediately became obsessed with welding and sports. Some of Emory’s favorite activities were gardening, sports, writing and exercising .

Our family was not expecting the loss of Emory or for his life to be gone anytime soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Emory forever. He was the sweetest, kindest and most loving soul and a joy to be around. He will be forever missed.

Emory will always be remembered by Cory La’Mar Gordon Sr., Lisa Vaughn, Cory Tyrese La’Mar Gordon II, Kameeka Adanandus and Dante Gordon .
