Emmett's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Emmett Theismann. Born on August 7, 2010, Emmett left us too soon on December 28, 2023. His endearing spirit, caring nature, and unwavering respect for others won him the love of all who knew him. The void left by his loss is immense, yet his memory will live on in the hearts of many.
Emmett was a cherished son to parents Josh and Tiffany Theismann. He was a loving brother to his siblings Hannah, Abby, Colin, and Owen, and held a special place in the hearts of his aunts and uncles - Tony and Melissa Theismann, Lisa and Mike Burton, and Tom and Julie McCarthy. His grandparents Patricia Theismann, Susan McCarthy, and Bill McCarthy mourn his loss alongside his multitude of cousins - Katie, Kevin, Danny, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Mikey, Tommy, Joey, and Ellie. Emmett joins in eternal rest his predeceased grandfather, the late Donald Theismann.
Emmett was an enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, showing his support whenever he could. He relished his favorite dishes, notably pizza, and was partial to the refreshing taste of Sprite. His preferred means of maintaining fitness was through lifting. He loved fishing in his leisure time, and the beautiful landscapes of Florida were his favorite vacation spots. Zach Bryan's music and the TV show All American were his go-to sources of entertainment. Blue, his favorite color, fittingly represents the tranquility and depth of his character.
A viewing for Emmett was held on January 9, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home. The next day, the funeral service took place at St Mary of the Snows Anglican Church at 10:30 AM. Following the service, a reception was held at 12:00 PM at Knocker's Pizza Company Inc.
In lieu of flowers, a fund named "Help the Theismann Family" has been set up, to which donations may be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. These contributions would greatly honor Emmett's memory and provide much-needed support to his family during this difficult time.
Emmett, described by those who knew him best as kind-hearted, caring, athletic, respectful, and thoughtful, will be deeply missed. His positive influence and the memories he created will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
