Emmanuella (Michelle)'s obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Aunt Emmanuella, who entered into eternal life in February 2026, in LA, CA. Emmanuella was affectionately known as "Wella" to loved ones.
She now joins her parents and her sister, in peaceful rest. Despite the pain of loss, those who loved "Wella" find comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with her beloved family.
Wella was devoted to her Catholic faith. Over the years, she was a parishioner at Our Lady of Malibu and St. John Eudes. She participated in Bible study, sang in the choir, volunteered as a catechism teacher and took part in many church activities.
Wella truly appreciated the finer things in life. She had a deep love for the arts, especially the theatre, and enjoyed the beauty of the beach and horseback riding, among other things. Her unique tastes included a love for Italian cuisine, Cassata cake, and beverages such as Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider. A lifelong fan of games, she never turned down a match of checkers and was always ready to join in whatever activity brought others joy. Above all, she was known for her genuine interest in and concern for others.
Wella will be fondly remembered for her vibrant personality. As an active member of her community, she loved participating in church functions, senior center activities, and family gatherings. She enjoyed the ritual of getting dressed up, applying makeup, and having her hair and nails done. She also had an enduring love for music of all genres, which she would hum along to during the festive seasons or on any given day.
She lived by the values of honesty and kindness, often reminding those around her of the importance of patience. Her legacy will be one of resilience, empathy, and compassion.
Wella’s warmth, faith, and joyful spirit touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
Wella is survived by her nieces and nephews: Andrea, Robert, Robert Jr., and Natalie (Natalina).
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4)
"Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen"
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Requiescant in pace. Amen.
