Emma's obituary

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Emma Teague, who left us peacefully on September 30, 2024. Born in 1937, she was a vibrant woman with an indomitable spirit.

Emma was a matriarch in every sense of the word; her personality was larger than life, often boldly speaking her mind and almost always finding herself as the center of attention. She was known for her fun-loving nature and never failed to infuse every situation with joy and laughter.

Emma was predeceased by her loving spouse, James Teague, and their son, Randy Teague. She was also predeceased by her father, Troy Clearman, and her mother, Abbie Clearman. Emma was predeceased by her sisters, Gladys Perkins, Lola Shanks, Iva Nell Clearman, Cleadus Nelms, and Barbara Lunsford, and her brother Henry W Clearman.

Emma is survived by her children, Gina McCrorey and Jeffery Bryce, her son-in-law, William McCrorey, and her daughter-in-law, Mary Bryce. She leaves behind cherished memories with her grandson, Matthew Bryce and his wife Brooke, and granddaughter, Brianna Courtright, her husband Matthew and great grandson Noah.  Her brother, Troy Clearman, also survives her.  She also leaves behind many close nieces and nephews who she grew up alongside.

Throughout her life, Emma was always compassionate and caring, and these were the lessons she instilled in her family and friends. She loved watching the TV show Heartland, often delighting in its simple depictions of life and family.

Emma’s loss has left a void in our hearts, but her heart live on within us. Her life will be celebrated and her memory cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
