Background
In early November Emma Greig was diagnosed with a rare form of Melanoma. By the time it was discovered, it had spread to her liver. Emma spent the next eight weeks fighting to live, putting her decades of experience as a research scientist to work, leaving no stone unturned. On Christmas Eve, she lost her battle with cancer. The sudden loss is traumatic and tragic to all who knew Emma.
Emma leaves behind a three year old daughter, Veda Ramanujan, and partner Krishna Ramanujan.
Krishna is now faced with navigating raising Veda without the support of her doting mother and his beloved spouse.
The family is seeking funds to help alleviate the sudden weight on Krishna by providing part time child care. The hope is to have in-home nanny care for a few hours a day until Veda is able to attend school. A trust for Vedas future will be set up with funds Emma squirreled away for her daughter. Contribute
