Miss Emma Katherine Cline, 11, of Islandton, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence.
Born September 2, 2009 in Walterboro, she was the daughter of Sarah Basler. Emma was a fifth-grade student at North Walterboro Christian Academy. She dearly loved animals and volunteering with Colleton County Animal Services and was extremely excited to start horseback riding lessons at Grandview Ranch. She loved to ride the motorcycle with her Uncle Chris and enjoyed a special bond with her Granny, Barbara Basler. She was smart, intelligent, and loved video games. Emma liked to make people smile and would always go out of her way to make someone else’s day better.
Surviving are: her mother, Sarah Basler of Islandton; grandmother, Barbara Basler of Islandton; uncle, Christopher Basler of Islandton; and cousins, Christopher Basler, Alexis Basler, and Jamie Rainwater. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Franklin Basler; and great grandparents, Walter and Gertie Basler and Jim and Lillian Proffitt.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020 at North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.
