Emily Carson Freeman was born to Richard Allen Freeman and Eula Beth Warner at the Women’s Hospital in New York City on April 22, 1944. She was the second of three children.
Emily, or Em as her family would call her, grew up in Pelham, New York. She shared a room with her older sister, Beth, where they would often play dolls until their father would come in at bedtime and sing Good Night Ladies. …
