It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Emily Mary Underwood, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God. Emily passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering faith.

Born with a nurturing spirit, Emily dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, a career she served with diligence, warmth, and grace until her retirement. Her calling to serve extended beyond her profession, touching every corner of her family and community life.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Emily lived each day guided by love, humility, and prayer. Her Bible was well-worn, her prayers constant, and her faith steadfast. She was a quiet pillar of strength for those around her, often offering a kind word, a comforting presence, and a listening ear.

Emily is survived by her four devoted children, twelve cherished grandchildren, and five adored great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Her legacy will live on in the love they share and the values she instilled in each of them.

Though she will be missed beyond measure, we take comfort in knowing that Emily has entered into the eternal peace of her Savior, reunited with loved ones gone before her.

A celebration of Emily’s life will be held in accordance with her wishes, honoring the love she gave so freely and the faith that sustained her through every season.
