Emile ‘Joe’ Joseph Bernier, of Tilton, NH, passed away peacefully on April 14,2025, He was a devoted family man, a proud veteran, a dedicated farmer, and a true friend to many.

Born and raised in Tewksbury, MA Joe lived a life rooted in hard work, kindness, and service. He served his country honorably in the military, carrying with him a quiet strength and steadfast dedication that defined much of his life.

After his service, he returned to the land he loved — farming and raising cattle brought him great joy and purpose. Whether it was in the fields or at the barn, or with his family he poured his heart into every day’s work.

Joe is survived by his wife Sarah, his son Jimmy and his wife Lillian and his daughter Gerry and her husband David as well as his sister Pat and his granddaughter Kim and granddaughter Stacy as well as his great granddaughter Stella and great granddaughter Ellie and his son in law Craig Davis. As well as his grandson Jake.

He will be missed by all who knew him
