Emanuel Gomez, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 5, 2020 at Del Sol Medical Center.

Emanuel is survived by his wife, Oralia Gomez; son, Alejandro Gomez; daughter-in-law, Liliana Gomez; grandkids, Christian and Viviana Gomez; brothers, Luis Gomez and Mario Gomez; sisters, Guadalupe Santiago, Mary Gomez, Chile Cerecerez, Chauney Peveto, Angie Trujillo, and Maria Lourdes Vargas.

Emanuel was born in Van Horn, TX on December 26, 1934 to Refugio and Benita Gomez. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of 17 in 1952. He proudly served for 4 years and took part in the Korean war. After his military service, he enjoyed traveling the world for many years. On July 28, 1979, he married Oralia Gomez and later had one son, Alejandro in 1982. He was a selfless man that would do anything for his family. On December 6, 2012 and January 25, 2014 respectively, he welcomed his grandson Christian and granddaughter Viviana, who were the most important part of his later life.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on November 27 at Crestview Funeral Home on N. Zaragoza. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 8483 Paddlefoot Ln. El Paso, TX 79907.
