I'll always think of her whenever I see the trolls characters. She was so funny and liked by many.

This is me reciting a poem Elyse created for my niece's wedding. It doesn't show Elyse but the poem is all her creation. She sure had a way with words!

I first met Elyse in 1985 when she was doing the accounting for a doctor's office in Beverly Hills, and I was a fresh-out-of-college computer engineer hired by my cousin (said doctor) to create a computer system to automate his business. And yes I know her former last name which I won't mention here, this was before she started using Versé. We kept in touch over the years, and she wrote several personalized poems for me. I would recite them for the intended audiences, and they were always a hit. One was for me to give to an old girlfriend which was absolutely genius! Elyse was so talented. Others she did for my older brother's 30th birthday get-together, my father's 70th birthday get together, and most recently for my niece's wedding in 2021. I was fortunate enough to have asked another relative to record that recitation so I have video evidence of Elyse 's absolute wizardry with words.
Unfortunately we didn't keep in constant communication as I just saw this obit on July 30, several months after her passing. She told me her health wasn't so good the last we spoke, I didn't realize how bad it was. I will truly miss her.
RIP Elyse.

Elyse was such a great Twitter friend who, despite being very unwell herself, always made me laugh . I'm going to miss her very much, but I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know her. She truly was a special person and I hope she is somewhere creating funny memes and cuddling with cats.

Elyse, I’m sorry I didn’t “meet” you much sooner. Your personality and spirit was so alive, fun, and strong, and it more than came through even through something as simple as a tweet. Your innocent wit brought, and will forever bring, humor and joy to the world. Please know how lovers you were, and are, and we will never forget you. We will carry on the joy, compassion and love until and as we are all together over the beautiful Rainbow Bridge🙏

I never had the opportunity to meet her personally, but her presence on Twitter was really nice and her passing has deeply saddened me. Her interactions with kittens in Twitter were very cute and fun. Her love for animals was so evident in her posts. Please know that my thoughts and sympathies are with you and everyone affected by this loss.
I will truly miss Elyse (@realmissverse) and her posts, but I'm sure she's in a better place now.
