The Heavenly Gates Opened & the passing of Elvin "Bubby" Dean Hodge Jr., who peacefully departed this life on August 12, 2025. Born on March 21, 1975, Elvin, also known as Bubby, led a life full of warmth, humor and an enduring love for his family and friends.

 Bubby was a man remembered by his loved ones for his caring, loving, helpful, funny, and outgoing personality. A lover of all kinds of music, Elvin found joy and comfort in melodic harmony, often sharing his favorite tunes with those around him. 

He found tranquility in fishing and an exhilarating sense of freedom when riding his motorcycle. Yet, his favorite pastime of all was spending cherished moments with his family, creating memories that will forever be held close to their hearts. He worked in construction for most of his life. He was a hard working family man who loved his wife Nikki and his children & grandchildren. 

Elvin is survived by his loving spouse, Katrina (Nikki) Hodge , his daughters Chelsea Smith(Son in Law:Steven Smith Sr) and Tearanee Robinson-Bowen ( Daughter in Law - Kathryne Robinson-Bowen) And his son, Brandon (James). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ra'Nya Smith, Steven Smith Jr., Adonis Smith, Raiden Smith, and Nialaki Robinson. His Father Elvin Dean Hodge Sr & Mother Mary Casdorph His Mother In Law Lisa Cavender & several brothers & sisters. 

Elvin's departure leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him, yet his spirit lives on in the laughter, music, and love he shared with them. As we say our final goodbyes, we remember Elvin for the tremendous love he gave, the lives he touched, and the happiness he spread during his time with us on this earth.
