Elva R. Treviño, born on July 12, 1936, in Sebastian, Texas, and passed on July 11, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She proudly served as an RN for over 30 years, caring for others with compassion and dedication. she continued her service as director of the San Benito Food Bank for 10 years and volunteered with Veterans Affairs for 3 years. A devoted member of the San Benito Seventh-day Adventist Church, she was committed to its food pantry ministry and community outreach. She is survived by her loving husband Pedro Treviño Jr. and her children:

Jesus(Alicia)Treviño,Ray(Melly)Treviño,PedroTreviñoIII,Linda(Craig)Beebe,Abygail (Sergio)Elizondo, James Treviño & 18 Grandkids. She was preceded in death by her beloved son & parents Vicente Rivera, Manuela Rivera, Vicente Rivera and grand daughter Crystal Treviño. Elva will be remembered for her strength, quiet generosity, and love for her family. She found joy in time spent with loved ones and in the companionship of her loyal dog, Uno. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
