Elsa Magalong, an epitome of selflessness and unconditional love, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024. Born on May 29, 1945, Elsa lived a life that was defined by her generosity, kindness, caring, and kind soul. She was truly a gem who will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Her spirit was characterized by her gentleness and friendliness. Her approach to life was anchored in understanding others and considering their needs before her own. She cultivated and shared this wisdom with her loved ones and those she encountered. One of her most cherished lessons was, "To give without expecting in return".

Elsa was an accomplished matriarch, best known for her close-knit and loving family. She nurtured and fostered a warm and welcoming environment, where all felt loved, appreciated, and understood. This includes families, friends, and even stray cats which she wholeheartedly welcomes and accepts. She was the glue that held her family together, their beacon of light during the darkest times, and their source of motivation during their struggles. 

Beyond her remarkable dedication to family, Elsa was also a fantastic cook. A self-proclaimed MasterChef who loved to eat, she enjoyed nothing more than delighting her family with her culinary masterpieces. Even in the simplest of meals, her love and care were ever-present.

Elsa leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. Her selfless actions and considerate behavior serve as examples for all. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life of a woman who lived her life in service of others. She has made her mark in this world, and her influence will forever be felt by those who were privileged to know her.
