Elouise's obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Elouise Chavez. Born on August 26, 1958, Elouise departed from this life on January 13, 2025. A greatly cherished woman, she was the embodiment of hard work, loyalty, and protection. Generous and loving in every aspect of her life, her personality left an indelible mark on those privileged to know her.
Elouise leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. She is survived by her sons, Arturo Mendoza, Rudy Ruiz, John Mendoza, and her grandchildren, Malakai Mendoza, Aurora Mendoza, Nathaniel Estrada, Brittney Estrada, Jaylynn Mendoza, Jizelle Mendoza, Genesis Mendoza, Troy Ruiz, Seth Ruiz, John Mendoza Jr., Julianna Mendoza. She also leaves behind her siblings, Christina Guerrero, Jerry Guiterrez, and Pete Guiterrez. She was predeceased by her daughter, Yvonne Ruiz.
A woman of profound wisdom, Elouise's life lessons still resonate today: "Don't do to others what you don’t want done to you" and "always trust in God". A proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her greatest accomplishment, was her beautiful and devoted family.

Elouise was a one in a million woman, an irreplaceable figure in our lives. She will forever be remembered for her love and generosity. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, cherishing the moments of joy, laughter and love we shared. As she soars high in heaven, we look forward to a joyful reunion in happier times. Fly high, mom, until we meet again.
