ELMER CLARENCE CHURCH JR.
West Union – Elmer “Clarence” Church Jr, 54, of 204 Arphenia Drive, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018.
A native of Roanoke, Virginia, he was the son of Linda and Johnnie Dye of West Union and the late Elmer Clarence Church Sr. of Roanoke, Virginia. Clarence was a carpenter by trade, a member of Unity & Love Worship Center and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors in addition to his mother and step father includes sons, John Huston Church of Greer, James Bryant Church of Greenville; daughters, Kaitlyn Rose Church of Greenville, Alexandria Renee Clemer of Virginia, Sierra Spence of Virginia; sister, Deborah and her husband Levern Backman of Mountain Rest; three grandchildren; one niece, Jessie LeCroy; one nephew, Jeffrey LeCroy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Clarence Church Sr.
A funeral service will be held 11 am, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Sandifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
