Ellen Burton had such a beautiful soul. She was a stranger to no one and had such a giving heart. She enjoyed live music, sunny days at the lake, and most importantly spending time with her family. She fought her battle with cancer long and hard and remained her same joyous self throughout it at all. There wasn't much that could break her spirit. She knew that her Father in Heaven was watching over her and that gave her peace. What a strong, free-spirited, humble woman she was who touched the lives of many. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Drake-Morgan, her partner, Randy Kelly, her mother, Melba Burton, her siblings, Phyllis Burton, Julia Christian, Alan Burton, Barbara Ray, Joe Burton, Jeannette Gray, and many nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 from 11am-2pm at The American Legion in Edmond, Oklahoma.
