I was so very sorry to hear the sad news of Ellen's passing. I fondly remember Ellen best when I volunteered on the Clinton's Farmer's market committee. She was so supportive of that venture and cared greatly for the Clinton community, always working to make it a better place. She will be be missed greatly by so many.

Ellen's passing has broken my heart. We were good friends who enjoyed golf and lunch at Five Guys, an opera event or a trip to the Lake House for a swim & shopping in town. I'll miss her infectious humor and charm and have so since retiring in North Carolina over 4 yers ago. We continued staying in touch and sharing our joys and adventures, so her voice on the phone will be missed terribly. So sad!
Ellen had the most infectious giggle. It made you want to join right in and giggle too. I will not forget our fun outings. She will be missed!
Ellen and I swam together every morning at 7:30 at the Y in Westbrook for about 30 years. We laughed and cried together. We shared so many wonderful stories. Ellen was the hard-working bright light of the Chamber building it into an excellent asset for Clinton. Ellen greeted me at many Chamber meetings. She helped some of my Real Estate clients get ready to move by serving them with her estate business to help them clear out their houses. Ellen has a son in Boston and I have a daughter in Southborough. One day while standing in the locker room she told me about Easy Pass. I told her I only go to my daughter once a month or so, therefore, I do not need it. She laughed and said, " It is worth the $25 for just one time." I still use that Easy Pass and think of her each time I wiz through a toll. I bet that was 20 years ago. Thank you, Ellen. I will continue to think of Ellen often and miss her greatly.
One of my favorite people on earth. I will miss her.

I have always admired Ellen from my early years in Clinton when she ran the Chamber. She seemed to have it all together in such a nice , relaxed way. But my most recent memory of her was on the treadmills at Function Fitness in Clinton. I was next to her and overheard her singing sporadically ‘here i am’ and the ‘on the road again’ and ‘there I go’....she didn’t know I was next to her and that I could hear her ! I tapped her and asked her if she was enjoying her Bob Seeger song ‘Turn the Page’😂. She cracked up because she didn’t know she was singing out loud . So sweet.
I will always remember chatting with Ellen on Friday nights at Donahue's. She was bright and intelligent and always ready with a quip. I enjoyed my time with her very much....
I’m so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers❤️❤️
My friend and confidant. Love you. Will always think about you.
