Ellen Delois Burchett, was born to Samuel Hilton and Mildred Haire, in Helena, Arkansas on October 7, 1947.  She was the third child to her mother.  She confessed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at New Light Church under Reverend Gray.  Ellen worked for Dr. Robert Miller (Helena, AR) at the Agency Board.  She was a loving lady that loved everyone, and was always there when you needed her.  Her loving smile could win the world.  She was a mother for all her children.  She believed in love for her family, friends, and all of their little children.  She loved all of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. They also loved her.  Her unwavering love for children could not be explained.  

She is preceded in death by her loving father, mother, husband, mother-in-law, brothers, brother-in-law, sisters, son, and daughter.

Ellen leaves a strong legacy.  She is survived by five children, 26 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
