Elle's obituary

Elle Lambert passed away on May 28, 2023 in Littleton, CO at the age of 87. She was born Marilyn Louise Zwick on November 29, 1935 to Dorothy and Herbert Zwick in Los Angeles, CA. She had a younger brother, Howard. She married Bryan Lambert in 1956, they were married for 28 years and lived in CA, MO and GA. She had four children; was predeceased by Brooks & Heidi and is survived by Janie and Amy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She and Amy moved to CO in 1990 and have remained there since. On her 60th birthday, she legally changed her name to Elle because she thought it was more “fun” and fit her better. She always tried to make life fun for us kids and we have lots of goofy memories because of it. Ever the social butterfly, she had lots of friends and loved to talk. She was very generous and loved with all her heart; she was always there to help anyone in need. She was very interested in religion and spent much of her life searching for the one that resonated best; primarily LDS and Lutheran, with her main love being Jesus. A lifelong learner, she loved her family, music, art, books, flowers, bright colors and the birds and squirrels she fed daily.

We invite you to make a donation to Best Day Foundation in her honor, in place of sending flowers.
