It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ella Sunday, a beautiful soul who walked this earth from April 10, 1934, until her departure on August 5, 2023.

Ella was a vibrant woman with an infectious joy for life. She had a bubbly personality and a heart that overflowed with kindness and warmth. Known for her caring nature and wonderful spirit, Ella touched the lives of all who knew her.

A diehard fan of the King of Rock and Roll, Ella cherished the music of Elvis. She also found joy in the daily routines of her favorite TV shows, particularly the soaps. An avid games player, she was known to enjoy a good hand of cards and bingo. She held an affection for flowers, elephants and her pet dogs, symbolizing her love for nature and life's simple pleasures.

In her lifetime, Ella was blessed with a large loving family. She leaves behind her children: Larry, linda, Roy, Bill, kay, and Kelly Mcconnehea, and 11 grandchildren,  21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, all who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her cherished husband, Merle Sunday, and her sons Terry and Jerry Mcconnehea.

Ella's spirit remains a beacon of love and strength for her family, who will remember her not only as a loving mother and grandmother but also as a woman of substance, warmth, and beauty. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
