Libby's obituary
Elizabeth Lynn Snyder, better known as "Libby", peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 21st while holding hands with her love, Jeff, under in the compassionate care of Hospice.
At the age of 67, she is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Snyder, and three children with their spouses: Jeff and Melanie Snyder, Sandy and Jonathan Alexander, Missy and Pete Gill. She leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by her 6 grandchildren: Jane, Mckenzie, Elliot, Levi, Hope and Josie.
Libby, born in Quantico, Virginia, moved several times with her parents and siblings before settling in Plantation, FL. Through church and working at Publix, she met the love of her life, Jeff Snyder. She raised three loving children while pursuing a degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and later her Masters in Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Libby worked in numerous facets of education: teaching children with special needs, educating parents of young preschoolers, instilling positive behavior modification programs in the classroom, etc.
Libby was a person who loved to get to know who you are and love who you truly are. She was a remarkable leader who taught leadership skills in missions trips all over the world (Thailand, Zimbabwe, UAE, Germany, etc.). She was a loving coworker who quickly gained close friends in her working environments.
Above all, she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. She will be greatly missed.
