Elizabeth "Beth" Avecilla Penaflor has gained her wings and joined our heavenly father at the age of 63. She died very suddenly while in bed at her home in Winnetka, California on December 22nd, 2020.
Her untimely passing has left her family and friends devastated and in complete disbelief.

She is survived by her husband, Jeorge, of 29 years;
her children, Glacier and Mark, and her grandchildren Justin, Michael, and Mason.

Elizabeth was born in Manila, Philippines, on
May 27th, 1957, to the union of Teodoro and Milagros Avecilla. She had five siblings: Elvira, Ted, Joey,
Emil (pre-deceased), and Eva.

Elizabeth took pleasure in traveling with her family and friends. She has been to so many countries and planned to travel to many more places for as long as she was able.

Sharing memorable experiences with her loved ones brought her so much joy, and it was evident by her infectious laugh and outgoing energy. Whether it was a simple get-together, a party, or a holiday, she always had a great time and people loved having her around.

Elizabeth was also known for her home cooking. Her signature dishes such as kare-kare, pochero, and sinigang were always requested. But she was especially well-known for her delicious morcon which she often gifted to friends and family at Christmas time.

Elizabeth was a strong woman with a big heart and a compassionate spirit who touched so many lives. She was very passionate about caring for others and helping in any way she could. She always made time for anyone who needed her and did it willingly.

Elizabeth's love for her family and friends knows no boundaries. Her kind nature and forgiving heart truly made her an angel on earth. Her beauty inside and out will always be remembered by everyone who had the blessing to have her in their life.

She will forever be missed.
