Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ann Malivuk, of Vero Beach, Fl, cherished wife, loving mother, devoted daughter and sister, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old.
Born on December 30th, 1958, Lizzie was the beloved daughter of Anna Patterson and Robert Campbell. Growing up in a close-knit family, she developed a deep bond with her five younger sisters: Joann Eakins (Jeff) of Granville Summit, PA, Robyn Reynolds (Doug) of Hatteras, NC, Barbara Campbell (Darrin) of Vero Beach, Florida, Amelia Estrada (Tony) of Vero Beach, Fl, and the late Delores Rae Wolfe of Canton, PA; God sisters, Myra Malloy of Canton, Pa, and Maureen Fidgeon of Vero Beach, Fl. Lizzie’s childhood was filled with love and laughter, and these familial ties remained a cornerstone throughout her life.
Lizzie met and married the love of her life in 1982, Jerry Malivuk, and together they shared a union marked by love, laughter, and mutual respect. Their life together was blessed with two children, Anna Chandler (Kyle) of Orlando, Fl, and George “Bubba” Malivuk, of Vero Beach, Fl, who were the center of Lizzie’s world. She was a devoted and nurturing mother, always supportive of her children’s dreams and accomplishments.
Lizzie found great joy in the role of grandmother to Julia Chandler and Daltyn Chasteen, both whom she cherished dearly. She took immense pride in their achievements and delighted in every moment together.
Throughout her life, Lizzie worked tirelessly as a caregiver, both to the elderly and young, demonstrating compassion and empathy to all she cared for. Her kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her.
In her leisure time, Lizzie found solace in riding on her husband’s motorcycle and traveling to the mountains in her hometown of Canton, PA. She enjoyed relaxing on her porch in the warm Florida mornings, listening to the birds chirp while she sipped her morning coffee. All of the adventures she experienced brought immense happiness and created lasting memories with her loved ones.
Lizzie was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Patterson, her father, Robert Campbell, and her baby sister, Delores Rae Wolfe. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry; her loving children, Anna and George; her sisters, Joann, Robyn, Barbara, and Amelia; her God sisters, Myra and Maureen; her grandchildren Julia and Daltyn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Lizzie will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her compassionate spirit, and her zest for life. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace.
