Elizabeth Jones, 57, of Edgewood, MD, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on December 29, 1967, she enjoyed a life filled with laughter and love. Elizabeth was a devoted wife to Tyrone Butler for over 12 years and cherished her time with her grandchildren. Known for her spirited determination, she earned the nicknames “No Mess Sister” and “Big Liz” during her younger years in New York. Ultimately, she found her greatest happiness in Maryland, dedicating the last 12 years of her life to being a beloved grandmother and partner.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Tyrone Butler, who will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Jones family. She leaves behind her 2 sons, Javon, and Leroy Christopher Jones, along with their families, their children, all 4 plus more, who were her cherished grandchildren, and their siblings, all of whom she adored. Also remembering her with love are her siblings and their spouses: Kim and David Reid, Dorothy and Robert Lee Singleton, Harriet, and Eddie Byrams, as well as her loving brothers Leroy Jones and his wife Towanta, and her youngest baby brother, Charlie Jones, and his wife Pamela, whom she loved dearly. And her 22+ great-nieces, nieces and nephews.
