Elizabeth's obituary

Elizabeth Izzo was born on June 25, 1953, in Brooklyn (prospect park), New York to Fred and Rose Izzo. Elizabeth embraced life with a warm and playful spirit, bringing joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she had many loves throughout her life, she was never married, devoting her heart to her family and the friendships she cherished so deeply. Her greatest joy was her beloved grandson, Steven, whom she adored beyond measure. Elizabeth shared an unbreakable bond with her daughter, Jodi-Marie, who was not only her child but her best friend and confidante. Elizabeth’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She built deep and meaningful connections, becoming a source of comfort and light to everyone in her life. It is with profound sadness that we announce Elizabeth’s passing on December 16, 2024, at the age of 71, following a massive heart attack. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Jodi-Marie, and her cherished grandson, Steven, who will carry her memory forward. Elizabeth will forever be remembered for her radiant spirit, her endless love, and the joy she brought to the lives of all who knew her. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
