Elizabeth's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Liz" Hargis, who peacefully left this world on May 21, 2023. Born on May 19, 1996, Elizabeth had a vibrant and spirited personality that touched the lives of many. A celebration of her life will be held on May 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM at 6424 Winona Ave St. Louis, MO 63109. The family will be hosting a walk through open house with some light snacks and refreshments. Feel free to bring any additional drinks of your own as well as chairs.
Elizabeth loved simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed snacking on pickles straight from the jar and sipping on ice-cold Sprite or Dr. Pepper with a hint of vanilla. A fan of diverse music, she had a deep appreciation for artists like Jhene Aiko and Rascal Flatts. Fond of spending quality time at home, Elizabeth took delight in watching her favorite TV show, Friends, and was a sucker for any romantic comedy.
A talented painter, Elizabeth spent many happy hours expressing her creativity on canvas. Just as often, she could be found dancing in her room, embracing the life lesson she held close to her heart - to always dance as if nobody is watching. Elizabeth loved exploring new places, from seeing her family in Denmark to any beach location ranking among her favorite spots.
Often described as stubborn yet always willing to lend an ear, Elizabeth had a compassionate side that endeared her to friends and family. A true animal lover, she adored cats and welcomed many fur babies into her heart throughout the years. She relished the simple joy of driving with the windows down, blaring music, and singing at the top of her lungs.
As we come together to remember and celebrate Elizabeth's life, we cherish the memories and the love she shared with all of us. Her spirit, laughter, and passion for life will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Elizabeth.
