Elizabeth's obituary
Elizabeth "Gail" Galloway passed away on September 14, 2023, in Quitman, Texas, at the age of 59. She was born on August 13, 1964, in Butler, Missouri.
She graduated from Rich Hill High School and furthered her education at East Texas State University.
Gail was a devoted district manager for a loan company in Dallas, where she worked for the Moore family for more than 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Galloway, her brother, Audie Canida, her sister, Dee Wilson, her daughters Taryn Greenberg (husband Michael Greenberg), Tina Thompson, Dana McCormack (husband Eric McCormack), Charley Danner (husband John Danner), her son Kyle Galloway (wife Tracey Galloway). Her spirit will be carried on by her treasured grandchildren, Kameron McCormack, Ausin McCormack, Karter McCormack, Nevaeh Thompson, Cayden Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Kyler Galloway, Luka Galloway, Maggie Galloway, and Francis Galloway.
Gail was preceded in death by her mother, Virta Bennett, her father, Mervin Canida, her sister Donna Barbour, and her grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Woodcreek Clubhouse, 100 Woodcreek Blvd, Fate, Texas on March 9th from 2pm to 4pm. Cue the laughter, anecdotes, and perhaps a few jazz hands as friends and family gather to share the spotlight one last time with Gail.
