Elizabeth “Liz” Field, 45, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2025 at her home in Norwood, Massachusetts.

A loving mother and devoted friend, Liz touched the lives of many with her warmth, caring nature and sense of humor. Her greatest joy came from being a mother to her two sons, Wilbur “Rocky” Fowler and Carter Merrill. Known to them simply as "Ma", her love for her children was evident in every aspect of her life, unwavering through good times and bad.

Liz is also lovingly remembered by her father Douglas Field and stepmother Linda “Ann” Field; her brothers Douglas Field Jr. and his wife Stacie, and Chris Brauer and his wife Deborah; as well as many loving friends and extended “family” who were an integral part of her life.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on August 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church 645 Main Street, Melrose, MA. Close family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
