It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Downey, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. Elizabeth was born on June 29, 1947, and peacefully left this world on August 16, 2023.

Elizabeth led a life full of love and devotion to her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bobby Downey, their son, Bobby Downey 2nd, and her brother Salvatore Scriva. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to us all as she navigated through these losses with grace and dignity.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jennifer Bable, and her caring son-in-law, Daniel Bable. Elizabeth's legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Ayla Bable(Sam), Amber Peek(Justin), Joshua Wojcik(Ashleah), and Quintin Wojcik(Janey), and great grandson Theodore Peek who brought unmeasurable joy to her life.

Elizabeth was also blessed with a supportive circle of siblings. Her brother, Carmen Scriva(Robin), and sisters, Lydia Hearn(Bob), Rachel Ratcliffe(Jim), Joanne Houk(John),  Rosemary Hale(Dave), sister in law Mary Scriva and numerous nieces and nephews provided unending love and camaraderie throughout her life. Their shared memories and bond will continue to be cherished even in her absence.

A Memorial service for Elizabeth will be held on September 5, 2023, at 1:00 pm. The service will take place at Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory, Umatilla FL where family and friends will gather to celebrate and remember Elizabeth's extraordinary life.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed, but her spirit and love will forever persist in the lives of those who had the privilege to know and love her.
