Liz's obituary
Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Voss (Dallas) was born on May 11, 1963, in Fairbanks, Alaska, and passed away too soon on January 6, 2026, in Eagle River, Alaska. She was a devoted grandmother, mother, and friend. Leaving behind a life marked by strength, complexity, and deep, enduring love for her family.
She was a woman shaped by her experiences, carrying both tenderness and resilience. Family was always important to her, and she demonstrated care through her actions, loyalty, and a steadfast commitment to those she considered her own.
Scripture reminds us, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8). Her life reflected the truth that love can exist quietly and imperfectly, yet remain sincere and lasting.
Liz is survived by her sons, Aren (Adrienne) and Chris (Shazlyn), her daughter, Jennifer (Tristan), and her grandchildren, Jackson, Addison, and Raegan. As we remember her, we take comfort in God’s promise: “the Lord is near to the brokenhearted” (Ps. 34:18) and we entrust her life and legacy to His loving care.
