It is still so hard to believe that my Aunt Liz is gone. I have so many wonderful memories of her. Aunt Liz was quite literally one of my favorite people in the whole world! She was beautiful, loving, intelligent, compassionate, artistic, hilarious, kind & also extraordinarily unique. Aunt Lizzert (our family nickname for her) was known for giving those around her a wonderfully silly & unique nickname -- & sometimes multiple nicknames. She dubbed me "Colettezer" when I was little & it stuck. I will truly miss spending time with her, talking with her & playing against each other on "Words with Friends" every day. I am so grateful that she was my aunt.

My prayers & thoughts are especially with my wonderful Uncle Gene, Keegan, Nick, Candace, her adorable grandchildren Jack & Skyler and her siblings ~ my Uncle Michael, Aunt Jeannene & my Mom.

I love you, Aunt Liz. And I will miss you forever.

I’ve known Liz since we were children. Her laugh, her getting a joke 3 seconds later, her brilliance, her creativity, her loyalty, her admirable faith in God, her Love of family…. all made Liz such a great person. I miss her. I miss my friend.

Her light and laughter was a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. From the moment we met, we were friends. Her laugh was infectious. The world is dimmer without her in it. Miss the sister of my heart and will love her forever. I am so sad for Gene and the boys and all her immediate family. God’s grace be with you in this season of grief.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Liz's untimely passing after our long friendship. Liz was a unique and sparkling gem who will be sorely missed.

Liz was such a special person. Her laugh, thoughtfulness and curiosity about the world are things I will always remember.
