Elizabeth Anne (Collins) Magilligan of Framingham, MA (and previously of Needham, MA) died on 1/11/2022 after receiving wonderful end-of-life care from Season Hospice of Milton, MA. Known as Betty Ann (and sometimes as Eliz), she was a proud daughter of Fall River, MA, having grown up in the Highlands neighborhood and having graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. While studying at Emmanuel College, she met John Francis Magilligan, then a Boston College student. They married shortly after graduating and soon had two sons: Jay and David. During her life she taught art as a public school teacher and an instructor/mentor/member/friend of a group of watercolor painting enthusiasts based in Natick, MA. Horseneck Beach was near and dear to her soul and artwork, and it is the lesser for her passing. She is survived by Jay, his wife Kathy, David and his wife Consuelo, and grandkids Jake, Grace, Lucia, Clara, and Rose. She will be remembered this spring at a celebration of her life and artwork to be announced later.
