Betty's obituary
Elizabeth (Betty) Carriero 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday October 3, 2022. She was surrounded by her husband of 59 years and her loving family.
Betty was born on December 3, 1943, to parents Joseph and Theresa (Bombardieri) Davis
of Stamford, Connecticut. She was the second of four children. After graduating from Stamford High School in 1961, she was employed by General Electric Credit Corporation and went on to marry her husband Nicholas in 1963. They raised a family of three children in Port Chester, NY. Betty worked as a receptionist at US Tobacco in Greenwich, Connecticut where she retired.
After retiring she moved to Fairfield CT and later to New Fairfield CT to enjoy spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother, she enjoyed traveling, shopping and was happiest spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her husband Nicholas, three children, Nicholas (Elizabeth), Daniel (Dina) and Suzanne Rappaport (Seth). Three grandchildren, Bradley, Jade and Anna Grimm (Jared) as well as her sister Cathy Bert and brother Thomas Davis. Betty was preceded by her parents and brother Joseph Davis.
At Betty’s request, a private service will take place for immediate family only. We do appreciate your love and support at this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital.
