Elizabeth “Betty” Blythe passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, spending her last days surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was blessed with 92 years of beautiful life. Guided in all things by her love of God and family, Elizabeth touched many lives and her love will live on in all that knew her.

Elizabeth was born in Kulpmont, PA, raised her family in Folcroft, and spent her last years in Boothwyn. She worked for many years at Bell Telephone as a telephone operator, and then at Taylor Hospital in the same position.

Elizabeth’s most important role however, was that of Mom, Mom-mom and Gigi. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence; son David; her parents, John and Alberta Rowe Guise; and her sisters Jean Shields, Wilma Cooke and Esther Diane Henry. She is survived by her children, James Blythe, Bethann Salemi, Jennifer Blythe, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Chichester United Wesleyan Church with a funeral service to follow.
