Elizabeth Ann Blunt (née Murphy), 65, of La Center, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026.

She was born August 6, 1960, in Albany, New York, to Jean and Tom Murphy.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Sarabeth Weeks (Jake Weeks); her son, Collin Blunt; and her granddaughter, Finnleigh. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom Murphy (Courtenay Murphy), David Murphy, and Anthony Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Tom Murphy and brother Timothy Murphy.

Elizabeth found joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially savoring a fun new iced coffee that brought her a little extra delight each day. Not always the loudest in the room but her mark was made by her expression through the love of fashion and staying immersed in music, movies, and the ever-evolving world of pop culture. She had a special love for cinema, appreciating the stories, emotion, and artistry that brought people together and sparked conversation. She also enjoyed dining out, not just for the food, but for the connection and memories made around the table.

Above all, Elizabeth treasured the time she spent with her family. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, and she held a special, deep love for her granddaughter, cherishing every moment they shared, especially playing dress up with grandma’s jewelry.
