Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Reed age 84 was born on April 23, 1939 to her parents David Peter Gonshorowski and Marie Veronica Sominski in Greenbush, Roseau, Minnesota.

She passes away peacefully surrounded by her children and family on October 26, 2023.

After graduating high school in 1957 from Bethel High School, Betty attended nursing school at St. Joseph's Nursing School in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating and marrying Frederick Lloyd Reed of Tacoma, Washington, they had their first child Steven David Reed on August 9, 1961, 

The family relocated to Eugene, Oregon where Betty started working as a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1962. On November 17, 1962, they had their second child James Michael Reed. Again, two years later to the day November 17, 1964, John Frederick Reed was born. On March 24, 1970, daughter Elizabeth Ann Reed as born.

The family moved back to Seattle Washington in 1973, where Betty went to work at Paccar in Renton Washington as an Occupational Health Nurse. In 1976 she went to work for Sundstrand Data Control where she eventually became Supervisor of Health Services. From 1991 until she retired, she worked for Fortis, Allied Signal and Corvel as a medical case manager.

Betty is survived by her 4 children, Steve (Jenny), Jim (Angie), John and Liz (Chuck), Siblings Marie (Ernie), David (Darlene) and Jane, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
