Betty's obituary

Elizaberh "Betty" King, 96, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on December 14 2022 after passing away peacefully in her sleep.


Betty was born on 9/10/26 to  Judson and Bertha Brooks.After graduating from high school  she went on to college.After graduation, she landed her first job as a secretary for Mass Mutual.A short time after that she met Bill King and they wed in Sept. 1947 going on to have  4 children  Bruce,, Robin, Susan andKaren.When Betty had Bruce she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Betty excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She went back to. College ,and became a lpn nurse, working at Good Samaritan hospital in West Islip Ny where she worked for many years.Whether she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Betty was a passionate tennis,, golfer,, and card player and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be seen trying to perfect her golf swing or getting better at her backhand in tennis. We will miss her greatly.

Betty was predeceased by list of family members who have passed away. She is survived by all her children and grandchildren. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to [location]. There will be a [funeral service/memorial/celebration of life] at [date & time] at [location].
