Elisa's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elisa Beggs on May 16, 2023. Born in 1991, Elisa lived a life filled with strong connections and unique experiences. She will be deeply missed by her ex-partner, Dee Griever, and her sister, Katherine Smith. Elisa became a loving sibling to Katherine in 2009, and their bond remained strong throughout her life.
Elisa had an eclectic taste in life. She enjoyed Chinese buffets and Fireball whiskey, and had a deep appreciation for blank journals, abstract art, and the song "Goldie, do you love me". She was an avid fan of the movie and TV show, The Hangover, and enjoyed watching performances, especially the musical Wicked.
In her free time, Elisa loved spending time with her sister and engaging in a game of Chinese telephone. Running her mouth wasn't just her favorite form of exercise, it showcased her vivacious personality that could only be described as "too much". Elisa had a fondness for ill-prepared tents, dumpsters, and her best friend's well-being.
Purple was the color that best represented the vibrancy of her spirit. One of the valuable lessons she shared with others was to always lock up your drugs. Elisa's accomplishments in life included, occasionally, attending to her daily living tasks. Although she may not have left a traditional legacy to be proud of, Elisa will be remembered for her wit, humor, and zest for life.
Elisa's family and friends will cherish her memories and strive to celebrate her life in the ways that mattered most to her. Rest in peace, Elisa.
