Background
Elijah Timothy Williams had just turned 6 months old. He brought light and joy to all around him. He was his brother's best friend. He was a happy baby. He had so much love to give. We were all touched by his baby coos, laughs, and cries.
Elijah died suddenly due to sudden infant death syndrome. He was a disadvantaged child when he was alive, yet he gave a gift of life to others at his death when he donated his heart. His death touched many lives. He received a decent memory marker several years later due to an act of a stranger and support from others. This memorial fund will help honor his legacy of giving and receiving.
Elijah T. Williams memorial fund will carry on his legacy by improving the lives of others while honoring his memory and keeping his legacy alive. The donations will help: 1. Provide charitable gifts to disadvantaged children and families 2. Support low income bereaved families who cannot afford a headstone 3. Offer support groups for bereaved mothers 4. Provide free educational services for mothers
Elijah's story touched many hearts when it was shared on the local newspaper and featured on Humans of New York. https://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/story/news/local/2015/12/24/lloyd-police-grave-mother-elijah/76685698/ Contribute
