Elijah's obituary
Elijah Miller passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 17, unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family.
Elijah was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on November 21, 2007, to parents Michele and Samuel Miller Jr. He was such a happy child. Elijah had a love for many things—Spider-Man, Bigfoot, superheroes, swimming, animals. He also loved to sing and dance; he would light up the room whenever he sang. Most of all, he admired first responders. He proudly stated that he wanted to become a police officer when he grew up.
Elijah was known for his bright smile and kind heart. He could light up any room he entered. He formed close bonds with the Charleroi road maintenance crew and local firefighters, who meant so much to him. He was well-known and deeply loved by the community.
Above all else, Elijah deeply loved his parents and family.
Elijah’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving parents and family. He is survived by his parents, Michele and Samuel Miller III;Grandparents,Adele McKinley, Michael Jolly, and Samuel Miller II.; siblings Dakota Lassic and Samuel Miller IV|; and brother-in-law Zach Nance.
He is also survived by his nephews Kaiden Nance-Baker, Roman Nance, and Renzo Nance, along with many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, family members, and friends—including Uncle Desmond Thornton, Crystal Bennett, Aunt Angela McKinley, and Uncle Josh Kalcevic.
Elijah was preceded in death by his grandmother, the late Nancy Tirpak.

Elijah will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew him. His light, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
