We are so sorry to hear of Elijah's passing. We didn't know him directly, but we know from Lamarr's stories how vibrant, athletic, and exceptional he is and how much his Dad adores him. Our hearts grieve with you. We pray that the God of all comfort showers you in His love, peace, and unending mercy and grace as you walk through the coming days, weeks, months and years. All of our love to you.

Elijah you will be so missed by so many. I was able to get to know so much about you through your Dad. There wasn’t 1 day he didn’t talk about you and boy was he one proud Dad (and will always be). To know you is to have loved you. You made a lot of positive impacts. I pray for all your family and friends that have been deeply affected by your loss. Your short life on this earth will never go unknown. I’m patiently waiting for the day your Dad will have the strength to join me again at the picnic table. I know I still have a lot to learn about you.

Lamar and Sabrina,

There’s no words to fill the void that you have and I’m sorry for that. I offer my condolences, love and prayers to you during this time. Elijah knew how much he was loved and that’s the greatest gift you and those who surrounded him, provided. I only met him once at our 10 year reunion. He was a light then, and now one that shines from above. May God comfort you all during this time and know that you have a community here to provide you with the support you need.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Elijah's parents, whose hearts are broken by the loss of their only child.  Lord, be their strength. In their darkness, be their light.
