Elijah was truly one of a kind. Quiet, but with a heart that was incredibly warm and kind. We had the privilege of knowing him through baseball—Mitch coached him, and he was Jaxson’s teammate from ages 8 to 12. He was always the kind of kid you wanted your own child to be around.

When Mitch, Jaxson, and I heard the tragic news, we were completely heartbroken. We found ourselves reminiscing about what an incredible kid he was and the wonderful young man he had become. His kindness, character, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all of us.

Sabrina and Lamarr, we cannot begin to imagine the depth of pain you are feeling. Please know that our hearts are with you, and we are lifting you up in prayer. God is close to the brokenhearted, and we pray you feel His presence and comfort in the days ahead.

You raised an absolute gem of a human being. Elijah was incredibly talented in both baseball and soccer, but his greatest gift was who he was on the inside—the way he treated others, the quiet strength he carried, and the goodness he showed so effortlessly. Not to mention his perfect hair!

He will never be forgotten, and his impact will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.

With love and deepest sympathy,

The Rodriguez Family

Taken from this world far too soon, but never from our hearts. The love, joy, and memories he gave will stay with us forever, and his spirit will always be remembered by those who loved him. My deepest condolences to the family 😞

This hits hard. I didnt have the pleasure of knowing Elijah. However, I'm sure the apple didnt fall far from the tree. Lamarr was one of my close guy friends in middle and high school so I can only imagine the loss Elijah's friends feel and his parents. Lamarr I'm sure you passed on the warmth you had for others to your son, where many felt coming to you felt safe. Lamarr and family my heart hurts for you. I pray for your strength during this time. We arent always able to understand the why when things like this happen but hold on to God and let him strengthen you.  I pray that you have a strong support system to rally around you both and your daughter not just in the early days but as the months and years go by. The significant moments.
So so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine a loss like this and no words can express the empathy I have for you right now. 😭🙏💔
From our family to your family we send our deepest condolences on the passing of your incredible kid. His smile was contagious. His friendship with my son Robert was true and pure. He will be missed, but will live on in everyone who knew him. RIP and fly high Elijah ❤️
Elijah was an incredibly talented and respectful young man whose kindness and character left a lasting impression on everyone around him. As a teammate and friend of my son, Rhyan he brought not only skill to the field but also heart, integrity, and genuine friendship. He will always be remembered for the way he carried himself and the positive impact he had on those lucky enough to know him. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten. RIP Elijah 🙏🏽 my thoughts are with his family and friends.

I was so deeply saddened to hear about Elijah’s passing. He was not only an incredible soccer player, but also such a kind and genuine person. Through soccer, we’ve met many families, but yours is one we will always remember.

There are no words that can truly express how heartbreaking this loss is. We will always hold onto the memories of Elijah on the field, his dad cheering him on with that warm smile, and his mom’s unmistakable pride in him.

Please know that you are in our thoughts, and we are sending you all our love during this incredibly difficult time.

As a mother of a teen son, this hit me very hard. To his parents and family, as you grieve the passing of your treasured gem, my prayer is that the beautiful memories will fill your hearts and soothe your spirit with each passing day. May the grace of God take you through this very difficult time 🙏

Me & Elijah became friends last year & became very close. I looked at him as an older brother & my best friend. We always used to get on the phone & vent to each other about things. I miss you so much & I hate that this happened to you because you never deserved this. I love you & It’s always us dude❤️
