Elias Esteban Ortega III, age 57, of Lexington, Tennessee, passed away on July 22, 2025.

Elias was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his sons, Adam and Antonio; his nephew Ignacio; and his cherished grandchildren: Alidia, Antonio, Janalyn, Aiyanna, Adaiah, Azaya, Kai, and Olivia. His love for his family was deep and unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and love.

A familiar face in the Lexington community, Elias was known for his kind heart, quiet humor, and willingness to help others. He worked for many years as a security guard, where his protective nature and steady presence were deeply valued.

In his free time, Elias enjoyed listening to Tejano music, spending time with his dogs, and relaxing with his family. He found joy in the simple things and took pride in the people he loved.

His presence will be missed more than words can say, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held [in aurora and is to be announced at a later date]. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Elias’s life.
