It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elia Hood who gently left this world on January 3, 2024. Elia was born on August 24, 1956, a day that was made brighter by her birth.

Elia was a woman of strength and intelligence, whose heart was as vast as her aspirations. She was a beacon of light and wisdom, guiding those around her with a tenderness that will be sorely missed.

Her legacy continues in the lives of her beloved children, Ty Hood and Madison Hood, who inherited her resilient spirit and giving nature. She was also a doting grandparent  to Tavin Hood, Juniper Hood, and Quentin Hood. Each of them was the apple of her eye, and her love for them was unwavering and infinite. Their memories of her will be cherished and held dear, her teachings imparted in them forever.

Elia is also survived by her loving mother, Colleen Hood, whose strength she has inherited and exemplified throughout her life. She was predeceased by her father, Edwin Hood, and we take comfort in knowing that they are now reunited, with Elia finding rest in the arms of the father who preceded her in this journey.

We celebrate Elia's life and the light that she brought into the world. Her love, kindness, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. As we mourn her loss, we hold tight to the beautiful memories she has given us, and we honor her by living the values she held dear.
