Background
Eli was a happy, healthy child who contracted a common virus that unexpectedly led to a rare and serious condition called, "myocarditis." This inflammation of the heart muscle marked the beginning of Eli's courageous fight.
Despite the odds, Eli showed remarkable strength and resilience. He underwent ECMO life support, came off the machine against the odds, and endured a complex brain surgery to relieve pressure.
Throughout his journey, Eli faced numerous challenges, including seizure activity, kidney failure and liver failure. His medical team worked tirelessly to manage his condition, but unfortunately, Eli's brain suffered significant damage.
Tragically, Eli's fight came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of courage, love and resilience. He was such a fighter, and we are so proud of him. We know he tried so hard to make it home to Mom and Dad.
In order to honor his life, we ask for help in bringing him home and celebrating the life and unforgettable legacy he leaves. Donations will go toward doing just that, as well as providing Mom and Dad support for time together to grieve and navigate this loss.
