Sadly, I just learned of Eli's passing this morning when I went to make an appointment for a cut here on Bainbridge. He was my 'man' for a great haircut,  wonderful conversation and a new friendship that was dear to me. I always looked forward to my 45 +/- minutes with him.  We each had lots of non-stop stories to exchange from  music, food, families, dogs and cars. Mostly true. He was amazing and reminded me of the preciousness of life.  More than once when making a point he would stop the sisscors, turn the chair so he could look me in the eye and deliver the goods. Missing you Eli.  My deep sympathies to your family.

My deepest sympathies. Although friends on FB and family in real life, we did not have any interaction during Eli's short life with us. That's really on me and not Eli. I am an "outlier" and now feel as though not enough effort went into making family connections. My heartfelt condolences to Eli's family as I know he will be deeply missed.

Eli was such a killer barber and always a good presence. Loved talking about vinyl and dogs with him whenever he gave me a cut. He will be missed.

Eli is one of the best people I’ve ever met. You will be missed by everyone and all who you meet and share a conversation with. This is heartbreaking that you being larger than life are now gone. Thank you for your friendship your memory will live on in all of us.

Eli, we will miss you dearly and you are forever loved by our family. We looked forward to that booming “there he is!” voice welcoming us to the shop, always a hug hello and goodbye, hilarious story swaps about music, puppies and travel but most of all the warmth and laughter, even during the hard times. Blessings to you and your beautiful family. Be well. ❤️
