Elena (Truncale) Pierro, lovingly known to many as “E.T.” and to her grandchildren as “Mima,” passed away on March 2, 2026, in Vista, California, just weeks before her 81st birthday.
She was born on April 6, 1945, in San Rafael, Marin County, California, to Joseph Truncale and Helen Elena (Marsala) Truncale, whose family roots trace back to Sicily. She spent much of her childhood growing up in New Jersey in a lively Italian household as …
