With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanore Catherine Longstaff (nee Thomasson) on November 15th, 2025 at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission BC, at the age of 71. Cathy will be fondly remembered for her generous spirit, thoughtful nature and fierce love of her family. Cathy loved all types of animals, cooking meals for family and friends, and being at her cabin at Stave Lake. Cathy was predeceased by her husband, Clancy in 2016 and her brother Jim in 2019. Survived by her children Donnie (Courtney) and Carly (Mike); her brother Ward; and grandchildren Brendon, Alexa, Danica and Jaxson. She also leaves behind her cousins; niece and nephews; and dear friends who loved her deeply.
